Frequently Asked Questions

We have received questions about certain aspects of the ministry and would like to share them with you.  If you have a general or specific question that you do not see below, feel free to email us at: [email protected]

01 Who are the writers on the site?

Throughout the site, we have several locations for articles along with apologetic materials.  We have two consistent writers which are Flynn Huseby (Christian Elementary School Teacher / Former Pastor of Freedom in Christ Bible Fellowship) and Kyle Peart (Teacher at Journey Evangelical Free Church / Founder of Once Lost Ministries).  Although they are the only current writers on here, we are entirely open to having guest writers that can encourage the church along with the themes of the site.  Please let us know if you are or have someone in mind.

02 Are you connected with a local church or under accountability?

Once Lost Ministries is not tied to any specific church for reasons of being a parachurch ministry.  This means that we are not run by a specific church but more so directed at ministering to the church as a whole.  We do however still need accountability and as born-again believers have fellowship with others like-minded.

03 What do you believe?

We are not part of any denomination or affiliation other than to say that we are all born-again believers that love God's Word.  We seek to make Jesus Christ and His finished work upon the cross the focus and are connected by the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.  As a parachurch ministry, we simply seek to worship Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth.  We intentionally choose to place a strong emphasis on the Word of God!
