GOD’S GRACE- SO MUCH MORE THAN COMMON

Calvinism’s “L” in T.U.LI.P. stands for Limited Atonement. The built-in, Calvinistic assumption is that since mankind is incapable of choosing the Gospel, then God must have to supernaturally usurp the incapable will of man. And since only some are Christians, then God must only choose to do this “overriding” to some, which they define as the elect. This mystical, overriding power of God is often called irresistible grace. It is the “I” in T.U.L.I.P.

IS IT GOD’S WILL FOR MEN TO SIN?

Calvinism says that man does not have the power or ability to reject the Gospel of God. The T in T.U.L.I.P. stands for total inability. The “I” stands for irresistible grace.

Deadness Does Not Mean Complete Deafness- A Brief Response to the Calvinist Concept of Spiritual Deadness

Calvinism would say being spiritually dead means we are completely unable, like a dead body, to respond, even to the Gospel of God (Colossians 2:13), but is this conclusion actually found in the Bible? Unfortunately, this line of reasoning is often used on biblically novice, non-Calvinists as a stepping stone into “reformed” theology. They will typically…

Every born again believer who has been saved for any length of time is most likely familiar with Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” The question, especially for a person influenced by Calvinism, is why is Romans 3:23 where it is in the Bible? It might seem pretty…

Calvinism 1: Is Man Able to Respond to God’s Invitation?

Interestingly, men are able to respond to a variety of invitations: birthday parties, weddings, funerals, and even Facebook. So why is it that so many believe that men are completely incapable of at least responding to God’s invitation of full and free forgiveness through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection? Too often people have believed that…
